Due to dropping temperatures and finicky ink consistency, we figured it was a good time to call it a day and go out for dinner ~ we love potstickers at Holly’s on Piedmont!

I’m gearing up to run my first silk screen art print this weekend. This print has been six years in the making, from the initial vision, through various digital incarnations to the final film separations I completed this week. Like all things organic that revolve around the golden ratio, the design will be based on sacred geometry and inspired by journeys through the psychedelic and ethereal realms.

Having secured 99% of supplies, we’ll be printing a regular edition of 50 prints, with some experimental variations on colored specialty papers that just arrived in the mail today. I’ll be making a last minute run into San Francisco to eyeball some original Griffin Art and pick up some custom pigments, which we’ll be mixing into proprietary ink blends.

Stay tuned here for process pictures as this project develops.

Release date is tentatively set for Dec 11.
