Yesterday we finished the art print under freezing conditions in Oakland. Uber thanks to the Firehouse gang who helped out in this ever expanding screen printing madness.
Painting in blockout to fill pinholes on the final screen
Registering the Key plate for the final color pass
Mixing up a batch of Firehouse Silver
Ron lays the ink down on the Firehouse press
We micro-adjust the registration, print out the edition and let the prints dry on the rack
Once the ink dries, it's time to trim the edges
And finally... a fresh stack of prints!
