Many thanks to all the folks on the Expresso Beans Art Forum that voted this week for the Mandala art print. It’s really an honor. In fact, a special thanks to all the collectors and enthusiasts who supported my print efforts over the last year, Y’all know who you are. Expresso Beans is a collection of artists, print nerds and poster freaks which form a rad print art awareness portal for myself and many friend artists.

And it goes without saying but I’ll say it anyways – a big mahalo to my friends at the Firehouse and TRPS for doing what they do so well.

Happy Holidaze!

Sacred Mandala One art print ~ This print was printed by the artist Dave Hunter with tactical expertise by Ron Donovan and LuLu over 3 days at the Firehouse Kustom Rockart Co. in Oakland, Ca. We created some custom mixed pigments – a couple of which contain light reflective elements and react differently at different light angles. 10 separate screens were used to make this print on several varieties of paper: Standard Firehouse 14pt Coated, Starfire Light Reactive 105lb stock, and a Holographic Sparkle Foil.

Prints will be shipped in heavy Duty Tubes. All USA orders will be shipped Insured Priority Mail, all International orders will be shipped First Class Air Mail.

Yesterday we finished the art print under freezing conditions in Oakland. Uber thanks to the Firehouse gang who helped out in this ever expanding screen printing madness.

The Infamous Firehouse Inkubatorâ„¢

As the sun came out today we noticed there was snow on the hills, which is a rare thing for the Bay Area – we decided to thaw out the ink…

Dan The Man (behind the lens)

Our good buddy Dan came by with his new fangled camera to capture some of the action – Note the killer posters by Ron and Chuck of the Firehouse on the wall. I couldn’t have pulled this off without these guys! And a very special thanks to LuLu who keeps the ball rolling and whips things into shape… not to mention Zoltron who delivered some work tables and a much needed meal ~ Best to finish the last color in the morning with a fresh start!
